📖 PREMISE & NARRATIVE

Kutup-7, Antarctica. Minus 38 degrees. The wind never stops, the snow never melts, and the sun barely bothers to rise.

You are the newest resident of the most isolated town on Earth: a handful of wooden houses, a single main road, flickering streetlights and a frozen harbor at the eastern end of it all. One morning, a letter is slipped under your front door. It's an acceptance letter. You've been hired as the new chef of a very unusual workplace: the buffet aboard a research submarine docked at the harbor.

The pay is good. The work is simple. Wake up, walk to the harbor, cook for the crew, clean up, walk home, sleep. Repeat for seven days.

Nobody mentions what happened to the last cook.

The game spans 7 days, each lasting roughly 20 minutes. What begins as a mundane routine of frying eggs, mopping floors and serving coffee slowly turns into something much worse. The crew whisper about sounds on the sonar. Someone knocks on the hull from the outside, 120 meters below the surface. Footage is deleted. Townsfolk stop making eye contact. And every evening, on your walk home, someone in a white mask is waiting a little closer than the night before.

👥 THE CREW

Ten people work aboard the submarine. Every one of them will eventually stop by your counter, place an order and want to talk. Some of them know more than they're willing to say.

• Captain Harris (Captain): Calm, authoritative, and very particular about what goes into the dive report.

• Sarah (Engineer): Keeps the submarine running. Hasn't been sleeping well.

• Mark (Sonar Operator): Hears things on the sonar that shouldn't be there.

• Kevin (Diver): Swears something knocked on the hull from outside during the last dive.

• Emily (Marine Biologist): Caught something on camera. The footage no longer exists.

• Doctor Anna (Doctor): Patches everyone up and asks a lot of quiet questions.

• Tom (Machinist): Lives in the engine room. Knows every noise the ship makes and doesn't recognize some of them.

• Ben (Radio Operator): Picks up signals from the surface, and sometimes from somewhere else.

• Zoe (Technician): Fixes what breaks. Lately, a lot breaks.

• Owen (Intern): New here, just like you. Nervous, talkative, and maybe the only one who will tell you the truth.

How you respond to each of them shapes the conversation. Trust earns you more of the story. Coldness gets you silence.

2. Daily Routine

Every day follows the same rhythm, and every day that rhythm gets a little harder to trust.

• Morning: Wake up in your small blue house on the west side of town. Read the letter under the door. Get dressed and head out.

• The Walk: Follow the main road east through town toward the harbor. Townsfolk wander the sidewalks, cars crawl by with their headlights on, and the streetlights hum.

• The Shift (09:00–17:00): Board the submarine through the dock hatch and run the buffet for a full shift.

• Evening: Walk home in the dark. This is where things start to go wrong.

• Night: Shower, eat, sleep. Or try to.

3. The Buffet & Cooking Mechanics

• Meal Preparation (6 Dishes):

• Saucy Eggs, Sausage with Eggs, Pasta, Saucy Hamburger, Cheese Sandwich and Sausage Sandwich.

• Kitchen Stations:

• Two-burner stove: Cook eggs, sausages, patties and pasta. Leave them too long and you'll be serving burnt food.

• Prep counter / cutting board: Assemble dishes layer by layer. Vegetables are chopped automatically as you add them.

• Ingredient crates on the counter: Bread, Tomatoes, Onions, Lettuce, Ketchup and Mayonnaise.

• Refrigerator: Eggs, sausages, meat patties and cheese.

• Pantry: Dry pasta.

• Recipe Book: Open it at any time (R) to check step-by-step recipes for every dish.

• Drink Station (4 Drinks):

• Coffee & Lemonade: Take an empty cup and place it under the machines.

• Beer & Cola: Grab them straight from the drinks fridge.

• Custom Customer Orders:

• Orders appear in a HUD panel at the top of the screen, along with how many customers are left for the day.

• Customers make specific requests: "No onions." "Hold the lettuce." "No mayo." Put the wrong thing on the plate and they will send it back, and tell you exactly what you got wrong.

• Branching Dialogues:

• A two-choice dialogue system (1 / 2). Small talk turns into rumors, rumors turn into confessions. Your answers decide how much the crew opens up to you.

4. Chores (Task System)

• Tasks are written on a chalkboard on the buffet wall and get crossed off automatically as you finish them.

• Daily chores include:

• Clearing tables and washing dirty plates at the sink

• Mopping the floors

• Wiping down the portholes

• Throwing the trash bag into the disposal hatch

• Delivering coffee or food to crew members in other parts of the submarine

5. Exploring the Submarine

The buffet is only the front of the ship. Behind the door at the back of the kitchen, a narrow metal corridor leads deeper inside:

• Rest Room: Bunks, lockers, and the crew's personal belongings.

• Torpedo Room: Cold, cramped, and far too quiet.

• Engine Room: Loud, hot, and full of shadows between the machinery.

• Control Room: Where the captain spends his days, and where your deliveries usually end up.

The deeper you go, the dimmer the lights get. Bring your flashlight.

6. The Town of Kutup-7

• A fully walkable polar town with houses, side alleys, parked cars, streetlights and a frozen harbor.

• Townsfolk with their own looks and personalities. Talk to them, or don't.

• Dynamic weather: snowfall, rain, fog and howling wind.

• A real-time clock in the corner of the screen, from your 07:30 wake-up to the 02:00 hunger that drags you out of bed.

7. Horror & Atmosphere

The Submarine relies on slow-building dread rather than constant chaos. Every evening introduces something new, and you never quite know which night it will be:

• Footsteps behind you on the road that stop the moment you turn around.

• Streetlights bursting one by one as you pass under them.

• A silhouette watching you from the corner of a building.

• A face at the back window of your house.

• A bathroom door that opens on its own.

• A scream from a dark alley that you're asked to investigate.

• And a masked figure who knows exactly how many days you have left.

The game contains jump scares. Headphones are strongly recommended.

8. Multiplayer (1–4 Players)

• Host a room or join a friend's room over LAN.

• Share the kitchen: one player cooks, another serves drinks, someone handles the mop.

• Push-to-talk voice chat (V), so you can hear your friends... and they can hear you scream.

• Playing from different houses? Use a virtual LAN tool such as Radmin VPN.
